Each of the boys penned one last thought for the book, something he thought might be helpful to Sunday School students of the future. These thoughts were then inserted inbetween pages and sealed. The instructions on the sealed page (see picture below) instruct that the seals are to be broken and the words read by Sunday School students of 2001, one hundred years later.
On May 19, 2002 (Pentecost Sunday, the birthday of the church), in the presence not only of Westminster youth but also members of the congregation and many of the boys' descendants, this seals on this page will be opened and the words read for the first time since they were penned one hundred years ago.
