Fellowship Opportunities

Dinner For Eight
Enjoy a meal and good conversation and meet new people! The concept is simple: groups of six to eight are formed and meet for dinner on a prearranged night. A host provides a comfortable place to gather, as well as the entrée, and asks the participants to bring a dish to share. The goal is that over a meal new friendships will emerge, the sea of unfamiliar faces will diminish and our community will grow stronger as we learn more about one another. Whether you are new to Westminster or a long-time member, Dinner for Eight could be just right for you! There are several Dinner for Eight evenings planned throughout the year. Check the calendar or contact the church office.

WestConnection
This group of Westminster members and friends in their 20's and 30's gathers once a month for fellowship, service work and fun. WestConnection is designed to be an informal way to get to know others and help find your niche in the life of the church. Check the calendar for upcoming activities or contact the church office.

Via Media (Vee-ah-may-de-ah) <L. middle way.
A fellowship group for singles, partners and married people ages 40-65 at heart. Purpose: Via Media meets the first weekend of the month for activities and events that are of interest to the group and help us grow in our faith.  Check the calendar, email wpcviamedia@mac.com or call Cindy Vekas at 952-928-8955 or Dee Marks at 612-926-6276 with questions.

The Great Over Fifties (TGOF)
The Great Over Fifties is a fellowship group for Westminster members and friends, age 50 and above. We meet, greet, eat, and enjoy a variety of programs, September-May, on the third Sunday of the month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Contact the church office for more information about all TGOF programs.

Women’s Retreats
The Women’s Retreat, held twice a year, in the fall and winter, at a retreat center outside the Twin Cities, is a perfect opportunity for spiritual growth, renewal and development, as well as strengthening the spirit of sisterhood at Westminster. Retreats are led by area clergy. Call Sandy Wilson at 612.332.3421 for more information.

Membership Classes
If you are interested in joining the church, this one-time class is for you. Offered throughout the program year and led by Rev. Annika Lister Stroope, membership classes focus on what it means to be a part of Westminster. Contact the church office for more information.
